While the school has long offered both boarding and day places, extending its renowned means-tested support to include day students ensures that more young people can access a transformative CH education, regardless of their circumstances. Across the UK, independent schools are offering fewer means-tested bursaries. According to the Independent Schools Council Annual Census 2025, bursary places have fallen by 4% in the past year (1,629 places) and by 13% since 2021. Read more
Christ’s Hospital’s tradition of donation governorship is woven into the fabric of the school, shaping the lives of countless children over the years. Many Old Blues will remember the encouragement and support of their own governor, and the unique bond that often grew from that relationship. Read more
