We were delighted to welcome more than 40 members of Christ’s Hospital’s 1552 Legator Society for a special afternoon of connection, celebration and theatre.

Following a relaxed buffet lunch and the chance to catch up with friends and fellow Old Blues, guests were treated to a wonderfully entertaining performance by our senior students: The Massive Tragedy of Madame Bovary - a wild and hilarious reimagining of Flaubert’s classic. With exuberant multi-roling, flamboyant moustaches, unexpected wild animals, French flair and even a nun, the production was chaotic, energetic and laugh-out-loud funny. It was a joy to see our students’ creativity, confidence and sheer enthusiasm on full display.

Occasions like this are a valued part of the 1552 Society calendar, offering an opportunity to say thank you to those who have chosen to support Christ’s Hospital through a legacy gift. Such generosity plays a vital role in sustaining the school’s mission and ensuring that future generations of pupils can continue to benefit from a transformational CH education.

We are deeply grateful to all members of the 1552 Legator Society for the lasting impact of their support. Their commitment helps secure the future of Christ’s Hospital and the opportunities it provides for young people from all backgrounds.

For those who may be considering how they could make a long-term difference, remembering Christ’s Hospital in your will is a powerful way to support pupils for generations to come. If you would like to learn more, please contact us on 01403 246570 or [email protected].

Thank you once again to everyone who joined us for such a memorable afternoon and to all who help ensure that the spirit and purpose of Christ’s Hospital continue to thrive.
