Thanks to your incredible generosity, in November, Christ’s Hospital’s Giving Day raised an outstanding £178,000 from 702 donors! Together, we’ve demonstrated the true power of our community in creating transformative opportunities for our students.

Here's how your Giving Day support is already making a difference:

Transformative Bursary Support
Over £70,000 was raised for Blue Fund bursaries and unrestricted funding, directly providing educational opportunities to talented young people who might otherwise never access a Christ’s Hospital education.

Empowering Learning Through Technology
Support of our Hardship Fund is helping CH enhance classroom learning through technology for all students in LE and above, via the provision of free or significantly subsidised Microsoft Surface Pros to those from our most disadvantaged families.

Equipping Students for Adventure
Kind donations to Expeditionary Education have provided essential clothing and camping gear, conservation tools and expanded staff training in mountain bike leadership—creating more transformative outdoor experiences for our students.

CH Standing Firm on Opportunity

Access to a first-class education, the individual attention, stable boarding environment, pastoral care and the feeling of belonging to a stable community at CH, can be invaluable for children to flourish and reach their potential.

Our Impact

Christ’s Hospital is the UK’s leading charitable school and the country’s most generous bursary charity. The school was established in 1552 and provides free or substantially reduced cost places to over 650 students each year – more than any other organisation in the UK.
