'I have gained so much support from my teachers and boarding house staff and Christ's Hospital has fuelled my determination to do well academically.

I have met many amazing friends from around the world - an opportunity I would not have got from a regular school. I have also gained; the ability to think for myself and much more independence.'

'Christ's Hospital has helped me to develop key skills for university life, such as organising my living space and sharing it with others.  I am now able to talk easily with my peers and adults – something I used to struggle with.

I struggled with chemistry at first, but thanks to the support of my teachers (particularly Dr Sayer who sparked my interest in the subject), it is now one of my strongest subjects and I have even achieved awards in multiple competitions.

Christ’s Hospital has given me so many opportunities to try new things and extend my knowledge beyond the curriculum.  I have played for the first teams in hockey, football, and fives, learned classical Greek and Latin, been taught university-level chemistry material and taken on multiple leadership roles that taught me cooperation and delegation.  The support I have received here has been invaluable, and I am so grateful that I was able to come to such a beautiful and culturally rich school.'

'I hope to go to university to study natural sciences and am very keen on doing a year abroad as part of my studies.  My passion is embryology and the use of artificial reproductive techniques to aid infertility.'
